Japan Panoramic Tours · Shinjuku
A coach leaves Shinjuku at 8:00 for Meiji Jingu, the Imperial Palace, Senso-ji, the Skytree and a cruise across Tokyo Bay, with a guide talking the whole way. It's built for a first day in Tokyo, when you want the whole city sorted in your head.

With 17,352 reviews at 4.9 stars, this is the most-reviewed tour on our site. The coach collects you at the LOVE statue outside Shinjuku i-Land Tower at 7:50 (or Matsuya Ginza at 7:20) and works through the classics: Meiji Jingu, the Imperial Palace East Garden or Nijubashi, Asakusa, the Skytree and a boat across Tokyo Bay.
Asakusa is the lunch block, about 1 hour 55 minutes in total. About 45 minutes go to Senso-ji and Nakamise, then a matcha drink or matcha gelato and a karaage chicken set lunch if you booked the lunch option. The Skytree ticket is for the 350 m Tembo Deck, and you skip the ticket line.
It's a long day: nine to ten hours, dropping off in Shinjuku. Forty-five minutes at Senso-ji is enough for the gate, the hall and some shopping, not for detail. If the tide is too high, the cruise is swapped for Hamarikyu Gardens or the Fukagawa museum, with no refund. Latecomers can't join the tour midway.
